Plan Options
All students living in traditional undergraduate residence accommodations are required to purchase a meal plan. Students living off campus, graduate students, and commuter students have an option to purchase a Commuter Meal Plan.
Your meal plan consists of 2 portions
Basic Plan: A tax-exempt account designed to be used at all food locations on campus.
Flex Plan: A taxable account used for: taxable food purchases on campus, at our convenience store, for vending purchases or at Off Campus Partners.
How does the meal plan work?
Meal plan values is loaded on your UwinCARD which works like a debit card. Each time you make a purchase, present your UwinCARD and the total will be automatically deducted from your account. The card will be used for purchases at the vending machines on campus, and with the off-campus partners.
Resident
The Minimum Plan
Minimum: The Minimum Plan is Ideal for the conservative diner often away from campus.
Price: $2,900.00 per semester
The Light Plan
Light: Enhanced minimum plan for students who rarely stays off campus.
Price: $3,150.00 per semester
The Full Plan
Full: Most selected meal plan meeting, majority of food requirements.
Price: $3,300.00 per semester
The Plus Plan
Plus $3,400 (per semester): Best plan for an athletic student or frequent diner.
Price: $3,400 per semester
Commuter
Flex / Dollars
Flex Plan: A taxable account used for: taxable food purchases on campus, at our convenience store, for vending purchases or with our Off Campus Partners.
Faculty and Staff Plan
We also do not offer a Faculty and Staff Plan – but we do allow for faculty and staff to use their card as a debit card and its charged back to them through payroll deduction.
